The North Dublin Senior men had their crowning moment in Bangor last weekend as they capped off a historic season to win both the National League and the Irish Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
In the league the men faced St. Vincent’s in a final day decider after losing their 2024 crown to their Dublin rivals who won the league in 2025. After an end to end game the men won out and lifted the trophy in front of a crowd of North Dublin faithful.
The real prize lay ahead for the lads who only had their eyes on one thing and that was that eagerly awaited Cup medal which had escaped them since 2017.
The lads were absolutely relentless across the weekend and bar the blip of losing their final group game, they were hands down the best team over the weekend. With an early blow losing Cal to injury, the lads had to regroup and dig deep to fill the gap. Jamie was inspired in goal, Dundee was brilliant all over the pool, Luka was in scoring form, Barry found his peak form in the Semis and Final, Ciaran was clinical in front of goal, Karl Wilkes was back to his best, Paul McMenamin was proving age is just a number, Fionnan switched to Fullback for the Semis and Final and dominated, Sadlier was deadly accurate in front of goal, Laffan was like a man possessed, Davide finally started scoring, Luke, James and Karl all stepped up when called upon. The whole squad delivered. Dundee (MVP), Jamie, Luka and Barry all made Team of the Tournament and in truth, you could have picked all 15 of our Lads.

They absolutely dominated the Final in what had to be one of the most one sided Finals in a long time. And that says a lot about the level of performance because Corrib have been one of the most consistent teams over the past few years.
The club showed again why it’s the best in the country, the support immense throughout the tournament too but in particular for the Final. Members young and old turned up. It speaks volumes for the spirit and sense of community and family within the Club and it was brilliant to see.

For Coach Stevie Nolan, this is thoroughly deserved. The man puts incredible time and effort into the Club across all levels and ages and nobody deserves it more. His Assistant Coach, Jim Tracey, came back to the Club where it all began after dedicating years to Clontarf and he proves to be the perfect man for the job with the lads having the upmost respect for him.
Congratulations men, a season of hard work rewarded.
